I don't own a 22/250 but I use 8208XBR in both a .223 and a .308.
In the .223, excellent results from 40 grain up to 75 grain bullets.
The .308 likes it from 110 to 168 grain bullets.
It is a stable, consistent, and all around good powder for both calibers.
A little too fast burning for heavy bullets, but great for light to medium weight bullets.
I got the load I use from here? It was a forum somewhere, one of those 1 in a million lucky loads that actually worked!
Savage model 16 made only for cabela's , bi-pod rest with bunny ear bag, 1:12 twist, 6-24 Nikon Monarch scope.
I worked up many loads with 8208XBR but this is the "Cats meow" ;D
