Savage safety selector

I bought the Jard Trigger with side/top bolt release. I chose to include the 3 position safety selector as I did not get any of the parts besides the bolt assembly and action when I got the action. I ordered all the missing parts. I was playing around with the Jard trigger assembly and the 3 position safety and I realized the Jard safety selector is too wide to fit up through the openning on the action tang. My action is the 3.4" spacing, Right bolt, dual port, target action. I think it came out of a model 12 Benchrest or Palma model, but it may have been purchased as an individual action. Does the target action safety selector come in different widths? Doi I need to call Jard to request the correct safety selector?
