Why? It’s 6.5 Creedmoor!! They don’t recoil anymore than a popcorn fart!
Seriously though, if I was looking to do one because I decided on building a RUM or equivalent, I’d probably go with one of the APA Bastards.

A muzzle brake has obvious benefits even on light recoiling rifles- but also negatives. I double up on the ear protection- but am not shooting at a public range so don't need to consider the way it impacts other shooters.
The APA and ultradyne have worked good for me... but also have a $30 AR stoner off of midway that does fine. I prefer side ports over the radial but both work and you don't need to time radial. The only real recommendation I'd offer is a self-timing.... so you don't need shims or a crush washer- and 2 or 3 ports seems to be the happy spot.

The only brake maker that I know of that tests his brakes against the compilation. Plus his brakes are sex neutral, NO ugly nut , so the brake can be tapered to your barrels OD. Some of the tests are on his site.
They are probably a good brake- but his claims and results just scream of BS to me- not buying any of it. If they were so good they would be much more popular because word would have gotten out by now. .... also- the claimed reason that his brakes are so much better than anything else does not hold up- because there are lots of other brakes that have the exact same features.... but maybe they forgot to add the unicorn dust?
After a long research I decided to go with the Ultradyne Apollo Max. installed but didn't get a chance to test it yet.
This video helped with my final decision.

Simong.
Have an APA on a 7mm STW and 28 Nosler. Both are striker handguns. easy to manage recoil using rifle scopes. LOL No, you do not snuggle up to it.
