Question about Savage Axis barrel

Will a Savage Axis barrel fit into a Savage 110/111 action???

Axis and 110 small shank barrels will interchange. I have done both- put Axis barrel on 110 and 110 barrel on a Axis. Good luck with your project.

An interesting side note i have swapped aftermarket barrels between small shank savages and my Bighorn actions. I hear that the Remington 783 also has the same threads, but i have not tried to swap a barrel from a Savage to a Remington 783

Yes, the Bighorn & Rem 783 is also threaded 1.055x20. And for that matter, the Mausingfield Action as well.
