You got it. That is exactly what I am saying because that is exactly what happened. Just don't know why I bothered to post it here.

I sent it to Savage so I can't very well take a photo. Let them take a photo.

Now it makes me wonder about my Axis barreled in 450 Bushmaster. I put some very heavy cast gas check bullets loads through it. How old is your Axis? I got mine back in 2019 originally chambered in 243.
