I've been away from this forum a while, so perhaps this has been discussed...
I might be in the market for a 110/long action small diameter firing pin assembly...but it looks like everybody is sold out and has been for some time. Additionally, it appears as though Savage no longer sells parts on their website (or my Google-Fu is failing me).
Anybody know what the deal is? Did Vista shut the door to parts sales?
Nope, call them up and they should be able to get you square. I just recently had them send me parts, so unless something changed in the last 30 days all is well.
The Savage Parts Finder has been down since they launched the new sight back in December. At this point I'm starting to question whether it will ever return. If Savage were smart they would do it as a separate/independent site or at minimum a subdomain of the main site so that if/when they decide to update one it doesn't affect the other.
