Just a thought
I noticed when I bought my flcp-sr that there is a plug or outline so to speak on the right side of the stock where the bolt handle would rest. This got me thinking I really like the b&c stocks for the price compared to say a manner, mcm or hs so could I buy a b&c stock and just use a router to cut out a bolt handle notch for my left hand action?

And you can fill in the other side.

You can, but often times it will leave the stock weak in the wrist area which will likely lead to it cracking in that area down the road.

Even with an aluminum skeleton?

Even more so with an aluminum skeleton.

What if I fill in the right side

The fill adds no strength. Once the primary cut is made it compromises the integrity of the stock. It make no difference if it's wood, fiberglass, or a combination of such with an aluminum block, it is the smallest cross section of the stock and takes all the stress.
