Might be a Yankee Hill. Part Number YHM 3080-MA

I would name it a Brake. Not a break. If it's a break, then it's broken. If it's a Brake, then it's a muzzle porting device that deflects gasses from the muzzle to reduce recoil effects.
Much harder to sell a rifle with a break, well because that means it's broken.
It could be a break...or on break, between shots! :smile-new:
