I usually use teh 50gr VMax with 36.3 gr Varget in my 22-250 BVSS. Would 60gr be better on a windy day or for shooting longer ranges?

The 60s have a higher BC, so yes they will be better in the wind, 34gr of Varget would be a good starting point.

50, 53, & 55 grain V-Max works well for me. The 52 work the best.
I have tried 70 grain Nosler ballistic tips with unbelievable accuracy. They are my #1 vote for the 22-250. 55 grain Nosler ballistic tips are in the same class.
The 50 gr VMAX shoot like a laser. I was just thinking about trying something else.
This is one of two rifles I bought new in my life. Load development was a breeze, almost too easy.
Once we get some better weather I will try the 60's just to see what they do.
