I have shot many savages but not your specific model. Savages are known to be excellent shooters out of the box. that being said, every manufacturer has a lemon here or there. I would not hesitate buying the rifle. Do take note that the trophy hunters synthetic stocks tend to be flimsy...so much so that the barrel can touch the stock if mounted on a bipod. Many have shot the trophy hunters with no effect on accuracy, but using a bipod may hurt accuracy depending on what your accuracy requirements are.Quote:
