Nice looking gun. What barrel did you go with? What made you go with 6.5 Creedmoor? I just ordered all the parts today for my own build. I was looking at .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor and went with .260 Rem. The deciding factor for me, as trivial as this may sound, was I couldn't get Lapua brass for the 6.5 CM but I could for .260 Rem.
Outstanding
26" Shilen varmint contour from Jim at Northland. The 6.5 Creedmoor is becoming one of my favorites after getting a model 12 LRP. I thought about a 260 but have everything for a Creedmoor already. The goal was to drop a little weight compared to the LRP and ad some color. I see a lot of cookie cutter guns and wanted something different. Not bashing anybody elses. Thanks for the comments.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention 4 groove ratchet rifling.
1. Nice looking build! definitely not cookie cutter.
2. My mom has that same cowboy Christmas tin she kept her sewing stuff in, I had no idea they made more than one of those lol
