Dog Tracker Help Me Understand
I shoot a fast twist 6mm rifle. I am thinking about a SSS Dog Tracker Stock for bench shooting. I just don't understand the offset stock. For a right handed twist barrel the extra width on the stock goes on the left side? I'm not sure I understand that. Can someone explain it to me?
thank you
jim
Re: Dog Tracker Help Me Understand
Fast twist barrel's with long bullets tend to torgue to the left this stock helps keep gun under control and return to battery quicker.

It's just like an action/reaction thing. As the right-hand twist torques the bullets to the right, the rifle gets torqued to the left.
