tell me about my savage 11 .223.???

hello, this is my 1st post,

i was given a savage model 11 , in caliber .223.. its an older ? rifle, i thinks , it does have the accu-trigger, [love it]

what else can you tell me about it ? what the twist rate in these ?

i thinks ? this is the SN# G420960

it can only be loaded through the top.
