Re: ejector spring removal
I've stuck a couple with hot loads. Soaking them in Kroil or my special mix sometimes helps with a sharp whack on a 2x4.
I've heard that some have had to chase them out with a drill bit.
Re: ejector spring removal
What I did was run a toothpick inside, it allowed the spring to run over it a bit and just be pulled out.
Re: ejector spring removal
Thanks guys, it's funny you mention hot loads. I try not to hotrod loads but I had a heck of a time finding a load that this rifle would shoot with 34gr midsouth bullets. The only thing that shot well was close to max for this rifle @ 28gr IMR8208. I don't really care for how they shoot so I'm switching back to Hornady V-max (or Z-max ::))
