Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
Buddy broke the same piece. He ended up buying a firing pin assembly from Midway.It was less than $20.00 if I remember right.
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
I think you're talking about the Cocking piece lock washer.

Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
Wow, thanks guys. I think I'll just buy the whole thing for $13 more and have some spare parts. So that one will work for a 110 30-06? What's the difference between the "small version" and "large version"?
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
Midway is getting "kinda strange". Last I heard you have to have an FFL to get bolt head and related parts? Check it out and if so, be ready to jump through hoops. Sinclair might be a better choice.
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
The older firing pins are large... all the new ones are small diameter
I have recently bought bolt parts from midway without any question of an FFl
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
I had heard a few months ago that the FFL was required. Never had any problems myself so I wasn't sure.
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
Is there any way to tell if I have large or small? Anyone know dimentions so I can mic it?
Re: Where to buy bolt parts?
If you measure your firing pin at the spot that goes through the retaining pin it should be
.145= large pin
.095=small pin
There's more info at top of page in the FAQ section.
