Savage striker barrel

I'm in the market for a new McGowen barrel and I read somewhere that the striker barrel is available in lengths up to 20" from savage-barrels. What shank size is the striker? I have the small (standard) shank. Anyone have any info?

Should be a small shank but, always best to measure. You should be able to get a barrel from anyone in any contour. Just call it a short rifle barrel. I have a 30 cal 17" on the way from ER Shaw.
