Side mount for new Mark II

Hi there guys

I've just recently taken ownership of a new Mark II and what a little beauty it is indeed.

It came with #12 weaver mounts that work great but the Mark II also have open sights that i'd love to keep for close in bunny work (and the challenge)

My father owns an old Savage Model 5 that has had a side mount rail drilled and tapped into the side of the receiver for the same purpose but that was done well over 30 years ago if not longer.

My question is, is there a mounting system out there that uses the 4 original tapped holes in the top of the receiver but utilizes a side mount ring system so I get full use of the open sights?
I hope you understand what I'm talking about.
