Okay I'm confused...10fxp, where does it fall in line?

What model is the 10fxp based on? Edge/Axis or some other series rifle?

The model 10.
The "F" is for plastic stock
The "XP" is for package gun comes with a scope and rings.

The Edge/Axis is a new line, and shares nothing with the Savage 10.

The original Savage rifle was the model 110, it was called that because back in 1958 it cost $110 dollars. Your model 10 is a short action version of the original gun.

So I have a Short Action .308 w/Accutrigger based on the 110 model of yesteryear.
