Suppressed MSR15 5.56mm Recon Needs Adjustable Gas Block

I've suppressed my 5.56mm MSR15 Recon which cycles OK but it's over-gassed, ejecting brass at 1 O'clock. Anyone had any success installing an adjustable gas block on this model? What did you use? Any help is appreciated. Savage customer service is no help.
