Model 1907/1915 question

So i picked up a 1907 that I had to use hot soaking, heat and a brass drift and hammer to get apart due to bad information from the auction house. I then picked up a 1915 Savage that had zero issues. So since the bolt and slide were trashed on the 1907 I scored another one but parkerized rather than the blued I had. So it arrives today and I take it apart. Its different than the 1907 but the slide is the same . I pulled the 1907 and 1915 next to each other and the new 1907 bolt looks like the 1915 but fits my new 1907 slide it came with. SO was there a weird 1907 transitional bolt ? I would like to add pics but I'm not using a 3rd part image hosting site
