223 Storm LW Feeding Issues

I cannot get this thing to feed any BTHP or anything with a blunt tip, like Gold Dots. They all jam into and hang up on the back of the chamber. Doesn’t matter if I load them short , long or in the middle. Doesn’t matter how vigorously I run the bolt, they all jam up and won’t feed. I’ve tried modifying the factory mag by bending the feed lips, sanding them down, nothing works. On the other hand, any tipped bullet feeds fine. Whether it’s a 35 Varmint Grenade or 75 ELD-M loaded out to max mag length, 2.400”. I like the gun, it’s lightweight, shoots reasonably well but most of the bullet use are OTM or BTHP type, so I’m schitt out of luck.

Are there any quick fixes out there, like another mag or easy mod? The Ruger Ranch I have eats everything just fine. I see they’ve beveled the edge at the entrance to chamber to help prevent any jamming, wonder if this possible with the Savage or does the difference in bolt face design and lock up prohibit it?
