Otis .17 Cal Patriot Cleaning Kit

I've used the Otis Patriot Cleaning kit for my .223 and been very pleased with it . Unfortunately , I just received the Otis kit for my B17 and thought I might warn anyone considering getting it . The slotted attachment for the patch is crimped in one piece to the end of the cable with a threaded fitting on the other end . There is a "T" fitting that screws into this threaded fitting to allow a grip when pulling a swab attached to the slotted end through the barrel . Although this consist of a tiny bar , I can see how it would work. The problem is , if you have the bore brush or swab attached to the threaded fitting , there is no way to attach anything to get a grip on the other end of the cable ?? I know this may only be relevant to a rare few folks here but thought someone might want to know (Didn't put a prefix as it's just about the caliber not the model.)
