Outside dimensions are the same. They just opened the action threads for the bigger threads of the large shank barre.

As I have a 7mm mag 110 action I am going to rethread for the larger shank.
reason for posting the qestion I am 8,917 miles away from my guns in china now
and can't measure them myself.
