A friend recently inherited this 22 cal autoloader. Marked Model 187R. It has no ser#. It is tube fed. Nice blonde stock; nice bluing; tang safety; two ''gills'' on left side; and the rifling appears to be well preserved. Does the ''R'' indicate year of manufacture ? There is also a stamping just ahead of the receiver---a very small circle containing what appears to be 11V. Is that significant ? Information is appreciated. Richard
