Range day to prep for Colorado and Kentucky hunts coming up
Ran to the range to verify a load for the 6.5CM and shoot the .270 some. Man was I humbled. I have been super busy this summer and only got out once for some trigger time. And the results showed it. Also need to get out more and shoot 8-10 round groups more often. It really shows your flaws in consistency. Ignore the writing only one group is actually .270. The rest are the 6.5.
First group was horrible realized I had my sling pulling sideways around the bag. Wasn't sure if that was the problem, but took it off and groups improved especially with the horizontal spread

Second group was better, but not nearly what I expected:

The .270 group. THis one tells me I need to be practicing more often. This load is usually in the 3/4" ball park. The one in the bull is a called pull I cranked on the trigger. But that is the reality of shooting.
