centerfeed mag tab and bedding

I just got a 112bvss in 6.5-284, I did my normal look over and checked the action screws with my hand around the forend and stock as I tighten the action screws. the trigger would only adjust down to 2#'s I was told this was supposed to be the target accutrigger, isn't it supposed to adjust lower?? anyways I noticed there is a tab that holds the magazine down in the stock this tab also sits part way covering the rear stock screw pillar. IMO this doesn't look like a good arrangement for good bedding. has anyone had any trouble with this tab, and what is done with the tab if you decide to glass bed the stock??
