110 7mm rem mag Boyds laminate buttpad

I have restocked my 110 7mm Rem Mag with a new unused, (private via classifieds) 110 Boyds laminate stock
Given the 7mm recoil, I would like to replace the Boyds butt plate with a Pachmayer.
Ordering from Boyds directly would be cost prohibitive to Canada, would rather buy off a shelf locally.
Q. Does anyone have experience if any the prefit (eg Rem700) Pachmayer pads are same size/spacing?
Q. For the grind to fit versions, does the end result look ok?
