Was invited to shoot at a 1000 yard range last week. Brought the 338LM and 308 to see if I would have any luck since the furthest I have shot a target was 500 yards. Took 3 shots with the 338 to get on target, then continuous hits after that. Broke out the 308. Took a bit more but 4 out of 10 shots with my reloads. Felt good to finally get to shoot long distance. Just banging steel so no target pics.
