.223 to .308 conv.... 110 hunter w/axis style mag

I have been thinking about going to 308 on my rifle.... I have a 110 .223 with the axis style mag. Non accu trigger. I figured I was already going to buy a new batrel. So why not see of I can upgrade. I have seen alot of talk about this. But not with the axis mag.

So, will it work, assuming I get a 308 barrel and bolt face and mag..... ?

Also, will the mag be the same size, so it will fit my aftermarket stock fitted to the 223 axis style mag...?
