Savage PREDATOR Hunter/ fluted barrel max 1 camo

I'm looking to purchase the Savage 10 Predator Hunter with the semi heavy fluted barrel and looking for some real world reviews.
What are the pros and cons of this rifle for deer hunting purposes compared to other similar Savage rifles?
Does this rifle have the metal bottom, trigger guard? I have one other Savage rifle that I had to purchase the metal bottom cause the plastic is junk and I'm comparing prices of this rifle vs other rifles.

If the picture on the website means anything it has a metal DBM.

Anzini, Why don't you give savage a call before you purchase. Savage has been known to change things here lately.
