My old Savage 110, bedded to a McMillan HTG stock
My old Savage 110 flat-back with a NSS recoil lug and barrel nut, EGW scope base, and McMillan HTG stock. I'll see how it shoots with the factory barrel, but future plans are to re-barrel in 308 with a Rock 5R varmint barrel. It will be a switch-barrel gun. I have a magnum bolt head and will have another barrel in 300WM
I routed the factory bedding and laid down a good layer of Marine Tex last night. I got it all trimmed and cleaned up. Here's the process for anyone who's interested...
**NOTE** For anyone who wants to duplicate this, make sure you free-float the heel.
