58C and 58D stocks

58C and 58D stocks

Wanted to know if the 58C and 58D shotgun stocks are interchangeable. I can't find any 58D stocks for sale but I found a 58C for sale. My 58D is chambered in 2 3/4" and the stock for a C is a 3". Does this matter?
