Question about Apache Gun Works Savage Sporter Barrel Contour

I am in the process of ordering a 6.5x284 Norma Criterion barrel from Dennis at myaccuratebarrel.com. . Jim from Apache Gun Works will be chambering it. Jim has a great reputation and I am looking forward to getting one of his barrels.

Does anyone have experience with an Apache Savage Sporter barrel contour with a muzzle diameter of .590"? I'm thinking of a finished length of 26" on this hunting rifle.

How do these shoot?

Any feedback on this thinner barrel for barrel whip, walking? Any feedback on this contour shooting awesome?

What does this barrel weigh? Dennis told me probably 4 to 4.5 pounds. I'm thinking he meant 3 to 3.5 pounds.

Looking for feedback from actual users...

My other choice is Jim's Apache Remington Sporter contour with a .650 muzzle. Dennis believes the weight on 24" would be about 3.25 pounds.
