12F action vs Axis action

Are these actions virtually the same? Would the barrel off of axis fit 12F receiver?
Would both take same scope mounts to make swapping scope from one to other possible?
I have a 12FV .308 and I am thinking about getting a .223 savage Axis and looking at possiblities.

Actions arent the same but similar. Both good though. Bolt is essentially the same. 12fv only comes in short action whereas axis is long action. Not sure on bases because of that but long action 110 bases did fit my axis
