hey y'all from South Alabama
Just wanted to introduce myself. Long time hunter and shooter I have or have owned pretty much most of the common caliber rifles. Now I'm down to just two closets full. Lol.
I mostly hunt at the house for deer or hog sometimes I'll take a nice trip and pull out a Magnum for something bigger than deer. But for the most part I just tote one of my short action rifles. My favorite calipers for around the farm is the 243 ,7mm08 or 308. That's about all I use any more. Mostly the 243 just cause I've had such good luck every time I use it. I've got several different makes of rifles and guns from Browning to custom gustafs. But as far as Bolt guns Savage is where it's at. I love my Savage Rifles. And I am becoming a little Axis Fan also. I meen who else is making a rifle that can shoot 1/2" at 100 for 300$
