MN deer opener today and ho hum I had to work.
Buddy shot 2 does with my ammo though :-)
270 140gr SST 400-ish yards neck shot ran 100 yards into the swamp.
7mm rm 162gr btsp same distace heart exploded also ran 100 yards.
Hope to get out there myself later in the week. Tuesday looks good.
Is that like hunting by proxy if he used your ammo?

You got that huh? Good news is no one has taken the big drop tine buck thats been chasing them does the past few days... So I might get a crack at him if karma stays good :-)
In some cultures the credit for the kill goes as much to the arrow maker as it does the hunter.
