338 Lapua BA 110 Reloder 33 with 300 Sierra SMK at 1000 yards
Back to range today....
Reloder 33 - 97.5 grains as published on Alliant web site
2750 fps
CCI 250 Primers
Lapua Brass 3rd loading. Annealed after 2nd firing.
Calm winds 80 degrees..
5 shots at Prairie Dog:
first shot was scope set at .3mils left
2-5 shots were with scope adjusted to .2 mils left
For those not familiar with "spin drift"... It is a factor with long range shooting. I see it first hand when shooting at 1000 yards in calm winds.
Two examples: Those shots which miss the steel have a furrow in the dirt from 7 oclock to 1 oclock. Additionally, shots which just miss the left edge of steel impact BEHIND...yes BEHIND the steel. in other words, the trajectory is a slight curve from left to right... ie spin drift.

it's in slow motion :p
