Ithaca Bolt Guns
Anyone else notice that Ithaca Gun Company is coming out with a new line of centerfire bolt-action rifles? Saw some pic's they posted on their FaceBook page, but other than that I haven't seen any detailed info on them.

My guess is they're using a Remington clone action since they're showing one in an AICS Classic stock.

The second bolt rifle looks like it has a boots bolt handle

Just what the world needs...more clones.

Sure have purdy stocks, speshly on the first 2. Im wonderin if thems standard equiptment?

If that wood is a representative sample of the wood on the run of the mill Ithaca, I'll be watching them closely for reviews, but I would imagine they used select stock blanks for their SHOT show display.

Confirmed they are Remington 700 based actions. They will be made in Upper Sandusky, OH (45 minutes down the road from me), and it sounds as if they will be semi-custom meaning you select the features/options you want on the fun from a predetermined menu (stock type, barrel weight and length, etc.).
Probably going to be way to pricey for most of the Savage crowd though as Ithaca is a low volume/high quality manufacturer (basic Model 37 Featherlight field shotgun has a $999 MSRP)

First gun was an Ithaca 22 lever action single shot. It was pretty cool. Mom sold it years later unfortunately.
