Has anyone had any experience with these. I am looking to purchase a set but with a price tag close to a thousand I would like to hear some opinions from user's prior to spending the cash.

Stiener binoculars are simply outstanding. I don't have the model you are looking at but I have the 12 power predators and 20 power military binocular and they are both awesome. The 20s are the clearest most comfortable glass I have ever looked through. The 12s are excellent as well.
