I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what changes were made to the action to make the cartridge safe in a savage action? As I understand it, the action is no bigger in diameter than a large shank action. I'm guessing they opened up the lug recceses and gave it a larger bolt-head and maybe a larger bolt-body but I don't know.
