I read the accutrigger started with the G prefix. Yet this is the recently purchased pawn shop find.

Not all Savages are made with the Accu-Trigger. The Stevens 200's never were and were serial numbered right in with the regular models. Many of the package guns were also made without the Accu-Trigger and are still being made that way. Serial number really has little bearing on if the actions has the A/T or not other than none before a certain number could be so equipped because it wasn't offered before that point.
I've thought about adding an adjustment screw. Setting the sear depth would probably be easier.
My G prefix does not have an Accutrigger.
They're getting harder to find but a 3 screw will drop in and probably be economical. In my opinion they sure do tune up nicely
Last one I picked up on gunbroker (didn't see any in the classifieds here) ran me $35 shipped.
Might want to post a WTB ad here though and see what you can come up with.
