Williams WGRS peep sight for Savage model 99F ? ? ?

Has anyone tried to mount one of the Williams WGRS Guide peep sights to a Model 99? I really like these, Skinner and NECG rear peeps because they mount just on top of the receiver, instead of hanging way off to one side. . .CAN'T STAND THAT! ! ! I was talking to Andy, at Skinner in mid Nov. and he said he completed a prototype for the Savage 99. . .then he dropped off the grid and I have not heard from him, after several sent e-mails - I don't know. . .maybe on vacation? I was looking at the WGRS, and they have a few models that work on round receivers (T/C Encore and Omega), just was curious as to maybe one might line up on the old 99 . . .hmmmmm! Any ideas, PLEASE let me know. Thank you.
