Don't own one but ya, remove them to, it won't hurt anything. Probably just pulls the tangs towards each other to draw tight on the buttstock like a Win 94.
Thanks, but I need to know for sure. Those two screws on my Marlin Model 90 O/U's are not removed because they are attached directly to the frame and do not touch the stock.Quote:
