Anything is suitable for a budget F/TR build. There is no requirement that the stock be a high end tactical stock. The Boyds is stiff enough. If you can get the accuracy you will be as successful as anyone else. Get good ammo, get good at reading the wind and shoot F/TR.
Can't help with F T/R question, but I have two of these stocks, one a blind mag version and the other a box mag version. I bought them because I did not want to spend big money on a couple of bench guns I use for fun shooting.Quote:
