I was in the market for a bolt gun and was able to pick up a model 11 Hog Hunter in .223 for pretty cheap. Coming from the AR build side of things I have plenty of ammo laying around so it worked out.
I am the type of shooter that just has to tinker with my rifles. I removed the iron sights, installed a Bell and Carlson stock and mounted a Vortex crossfire on top. After mounting the scope I went ahead and ordered a extended bolt to help keep my hand from hitting the scope while pulling the bolt back(on the way). Other than the extended bolt I don't plan to add anything else at this time except probably a bipod.
I took her out today to sight her in and I am very impressed overall with the gun. The accu-trigger is very smooth right out the box, with no tweaking needed on my end. I was shooting 55gr cheapo ammo and overall very happy with the grouping and this rifle. I expect my groups to tighten up with better quality match ammo.
