FC111 with detachable mag fitted into B&C medalist blind mag version?

Hello folks,

I've got a FC111 (European version chambered in 9,3x62mm) and i'm searching for a replacement stock.

Unfortunately, Manners stocks can't be exported out of the US so my best chance for a stiff, synthetic hunting stock seems to be the B&C model.

First note: Bell and Carlson don't have a Medalist Sporter for Savage rifles in their 2012 catalouge, but they seem to be available at Midway?

Is it feasable to convert a blind mag long action Medalist stock to fit my detachable box mag Savage? Is there just some material that must go or is there also a problem with the action screw spacing?

And by modifying a stock that much - could I also have a CDI precision mag kit (AICS-type magazines) installed instead of the factory detachable mag system?
