Savage model 30 clarification

going to look at a Savage 20 gauge pump advertised in the paper. Hard to understand the guy on the phone. Sounds like he says it's a wood stock, 5 shot, vent rib barrel, pump, "BH1-30". Well, from what I've found, there seems to be a Savage model 30 that's not worth much. maybe he means 30-I? Any tips on what I might be finding, and what it might be worth? Current price is low 200s.

I want a better gun for my 15 yr old to shoot clay pigeons in the backyard. Rossi Triple Play 20 gauge is very light and kicks hard.
