I had a stock checkered about 8 years ago on a custom mauser w/ a piece of beautiful english walnut. I am trying to remember the name of the co. but it was the ladies that hand checkered Kimber's rifles when they were in Oregon or somewhere out there. They did a great job for a very fair price. Seems to me it was in Oregon

Thats it! They did a great job, good turn around and fair priced. They had a very good selection of patterns.
