It is a drop in fot for a Stagagerd feed magazine.
Are you useing it for a centerfeed, or a staggard feed?
Did you place it inside the magazine biox, with the follower on the bottom?
Are you trying to load off the follower with a hollow point bullet?
Common problem with Savage chambers and the 223 and 204 attempting to get them to load hollow point bullets, the just hit the back of the barrel, the only way to fix this problem is to have a AR-15 style ramp cut into the back of the barrel.
Its a staggered feed,on top of follower, hollow point bullets. It worked fine for 15 shots now it seems like its too low stuck there.Should it be tight in the magazine
I had to grind the front corners on the one I have to get it to seat fully/correctly. It would hang up on the action and sit too low and tilted otherwise.
Mine is a TIGHT fit when I shove it to the top of the magazine. I mean I use a piece of wood to press against the bottom of the follower so that I can push hard enough to get the follower far enough up into the magazine.
