What is the barrel contour of the Mod 25 WV?
I believe it is sporter. I have the model 25 "classic" from last year and it has a sporter barrel.
Its a semi heavy 20" barrel its not a bull barrel but its a fair bit heavier than a sporter
It's more of a medium contour. I didn't measure the muzzle on the one I had for review this spring, but it's definitely heavier than a sporter but not as heavy as a 110-series varmint barrel. That would put it somewhere between 0.550 and 0.820" at the muzzle.
just measured mine its 0.695" at the muzzle
